SUBMITTING YOUR OWN ARTWORK:
SUBMITTING DIGITAL FILES
If you have ready-for-press files
or various parts of your design as computer files, here are
some guidelines for submitting those files.
DO YOU HAVE A COMPLETED READY-FOR-PRESS
FILE?
Great! Please view our list of acceptable
and un-acceptable files before submitting, and review our
guidelines.
ACCEPTABLE SOFTWARE AND FILE
TYPES
Macromedia Freehand 10 (Mac or PC)
Adobe Photoshop 7 (Mac or PC)
Quark Express 4.1 (Mac or PC)
Adobe Illustrator 6.0 (please export as EPS file)
EPS files (vector art only, Photoshop EPS files do not work
as well)
TIFF files (300 dpi versions for 4-color process projects
only)
JPEG files (300 dpi versions for 4-color process projects
only)
UNACCEPTABLE SOFTWARE AND FILE TYPES
The following file types must be re-created.

Wordprocessing or Excel files
Corel Draw
Power Point
Paint Shop
Low-Res JPEG files
Low-Res TIFF files
Adobe Pagemaker
ACCEPTABLE FILE TRANSFER METHODS
Email -- Please compress files that are over 3MB
Floppy Disk (Mac or PC)
Zip 100 or 250 (Mac or PC)
CD (Mac or PC)
USB Memory Pens or Cards (Mac or PC)
GUIDELINES
1, Always submit a color printout and/or PDF or JPEG for color
reference with your digital files.
2. Be sure to embed any external image files used or include
them in your transfer.
3. It is preferred that you convert all text to outlines when
submitting files. However, we will accept Mac versions of
fonts. No PC font versions are acceptable.
4. Please remove any additional colors from the design that
are not to be used in printing.
5. All non-vector artwork, including JPEG & TIFF files should
be at least 72dpi and at least 50% of the finished size of artwork.
6. Our maximum screen size is 13 x 13". However, artwork
will be sized according to your smallest t-shirt size.
DO YOU HAVE DIGITAL FILES THAT YOU WOULD LIKE DUX D'LUX TO
USE IN YOUR DESIGN?
When submitting digital files to be used
in your design, please consider the following guidelines:
1. JPEG, TIF or PDF files may sometimes need to be re-created.
2. JPEG or GIF files downloaded from the internet are low
resolution and often too small to be used effectively in your
design.
3. If we do not have the specific fonts shown in your image,
we will substitute similar fonts from our system.
