  For all those sports fans out there, Dux D’Lux is celebrating Tailgating Week beginning Sept 28. We’ll be sharing great Tailgating promotional product choices, yummy recipes, school fundraising ideas and more on our social media profiles, ezine and blog. The week will culminate in a Virtual Tailgate Party Facebook event on Friday, Oct 2.

  We’re looking for contenders for the school team most deserving of custom-printed team spirit give-aways. What makes a team the most deserving? The number of fans of course! “Fan” the Dux D’Lux Facebook page Sept 28 – Oct 2 and leave a comment about your favorite high school, junior high or pee wee team — football, soccer, volleyball, cheer squad… any sport, any age! Just include your school and your sponsor organization. The team with the most endorsements will get their choice of 100 FREE custom imprinted 22 oz stadium cups or megaphones to use for fundraising, game tosses, pep rallies, etc. We’ll announce our Most Valuable Team during the Virtual Tailgate Party on Oct 2.

  More of a college or pro sports lover? We have some fun prizes for lucky fans posting the best smack-talking, pom-pom waving cheers during the Virtual Tailgate Party on Oct. 2. Don’t miss it!

  New Website Preview!

  We are incredibly excited that the launch of the new duxdlux.com is only a week away. We’ve set our launch date for Monday, July 20, but I wanted to give our Quack! readers an exclusive preview. The site has been in development for a while, and we plan to continue adding more new features and portfolio pieces monthly. We hope you like the new overlapping Dux logo that’s already been featured here on the blog, in our social media profiles and in the Quick Quack ezine. True to the colorful personality of our company, we wanted to update our “look” with some bright hues. Although we will always be flamingo pink-lovers, we’ve injected our new scheme with energetic oranges and yellows. We love the vitality and innovation those colors convey–very befitting of the bright ideas we hope to impart to our clients.

  Our new home page features a rotating slideshow showing slices of some of our favorite projects from all four service areas: graphic design, website development, screen printing and promotional products. You will also see an RSS feed of the latest Quack! postings, and maybe a product special or two.

  You’ll get all the same great information about our company and tidbits of marketing expertise as you browse through the pages, but our content’s been freshened up a bit with a lot less sales-speak. A new navigation structure is organized by “who we are,” “what we do” and “our work.” We hope the larger design images accenting each page will provide great examples of the “good design” and “good ideas” we have to offer.

  One navigation feature we’ve added is our concierge page. We describe it as an “at-a-glance resource” for putting the Dux to work in achieving your marketing goals. Envisioned as a souped up site map, the concierge page offers quick links to email our staff, check out our latest specials, browse portfolio categories, access our online catalogs, fan us on Facebook and more. If you need quick information, we hope you’ll find the concierge desk helpful.
