GREAT T-SHIRTS 101: GETTING AN ACCURATE
QUOTE
FEB 2001
If you are the one with the dubious task of getting screen printed
t-shirts for your company or organizations, you have probably
realized what a daunting task it can be. There are so many t-shirt
styles and colors available, not to mention artwork and ink
colors. Never fear! Our 20 years in the screen printing business
has taught us a few tips and shortcuts that we think might make
your job easier:
GETTING AN ACCURATE PRICE:
It's not as easy as it sounds. If you have been burned by the
price shopping trap, you know that if a t-shirt price sounds
too good to be true, it probably is. Paper-thin fabric, inconsistent
dyes, and cracking ink are telltale signs of poor quality, and
there's nothing more disheartening than a t-shirt that doesn't
live up to expectations. Choose a company (we shamelessly suggest
Dux D'Lux) that offers a fair price and has a reputation for
quality work from customer service to design to printing. When
you call Dux D'Lux for a t-shirt quote, we will ask for several
pieces of information:
T-Shirt Color -- we can show you upteen options
Quantity
Number & Placement of ink colors -- our artists can make
some economical suggestions
Artwork Ideas -- if you have them When you receive your
pricing, there are no surprises.
Your
t-shirt cost, design work, and printing will all be included.
The only things we do not include in your initial quote are
shipping and tax (if applicable).
